Bill and Ben, the world’s oldest equine twins?

June 13th, 2007 · No Comments

The Veteran Horse Society is seeking recognition to the Guinness Book of records to make Bill and Ben, who, at 24, (equivalent to 72 in human years) as the world’s oldest living horse twins.
Bill and Ben, who stand at 11.2 hands are Cremello, which means they are cream horses with blue eyes.  Both are broken to harness and saddle but are now long retired.  As with all twins, they are so alike that one of them has a blue ribbon tied in his mane so that staff at the Veteran Horse Society can tell them apart.
The Guinness Book of Records has received a submission that the pair is the oldest equine twins and is considering the claim.
